Reagan Downing is a litigation attorney who focuses her practice on asbestos litigation, medical malpractice, and personal injury.
Before joining HME, Reagan worked as a personal injury attorney and handled complex medical malpractice cases, product liability cases, and mass torts.
Reagan graduated from Memphis Law School where she was a member of the National Trial Team. Reagan and her partner won first place in Memphis Law School’s In-School Mock Trial Competition where she received the Robert J. L. Spence, Jr. Moot Court Award. During law school, Reagan worked for the Neighborhood Preservation Clinic, an in-house legal clinic with the university, dedicated to reducing instances of blight and restoring blighted properties in the city of Memphis. Reagan obtained a certificate in health law and was able to work on the legal team for one of the largest hospital systems in Tennessee.
Reagan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she studied Art History and Africana Studies.
Reagan is a member of the bar of the State of Illinois as well as Tennessee. On the weekends, you can often find Reagan rollerblading around the city or enjoying the park with her dog.
