Claudia Vickrey is an attorney specializing in toxic torts and personal injury. She received her Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Advocacy from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During her time at Loyola, Claudia was a Torts Academic Tutor to Professor Carmen Gonzalez, Morris I. Liebman Professor of Law and also externed in the Circuit Court of Cook County and the Northern District of Illinois. She earned a CALI Award for excellent achievement in the study of Legal Writing III. Claudia was also an oralist and brief writer on Loyola’s Chicago Bar Association and Family Law Moot Court teams, and was a Quarterfinalist in the National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare & Adoption Law. Between her externships in law school and after graduation, Claudia also worked as a law clerk at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm. Before joining HME, Claudia was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ronald F. Bartkowicz of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division.Â
Claudia is a city girl at heart. She grew up in Chicago and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for undergrad. There, she double majored in International Studies-Global Security and French, and eventually studied abroad in Paris during her Junior year. After graduating, Claudia moved to France and taught English to French high schoolers. During her free time, Claudia enjoys going to the lake, Pilates, and listening to podcasts.
