Heather Van Vleet Associate

Heather Van Vleet is a litigation attorney who represents clients on a variety of civil matters, including civil rights violations, nursing home negligence, motor vehicle collisions, sex abuse, premise liability, product liability, and medical malpractice.

Prior to joining HME, Heather earned her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law, and B.S.B.A. in Business and Law from the University of Tulsa through its accelerated pre-law scholars’ program. While earning her degrees, Heather was a member of the American Inns of Court, and was sworn in by Chief Justice Kane of the Oklahoma Supreme Court as a licensed legal intern. Heather used this license to provide strong and consistent advocacy involving a wide variety of areas of law. In her spare time, Heather used her license to volunteer at the Legal Aid Clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she provided free legal services to low-income households and senior citizens.

Heather was born and raised in Illinois, and she currently resides in Chicago.
