Heather earned her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law and BSBA in Business and Law from the University of Tulsa through the accelerated pre-law scholars’ program.
While earning her degrees, Heather was a member of the American Inns of Court and was sworn in by Chief Justice Kane of the Oklahoma Supreme Court as a licensed legal intern. Heather used this license to provide strong and consistent advocacy involving a wide variety of areas of law. In her spare time, Heather used her license to volunteer at Legal Aid in Tulsa, where she provided free legal services to eligible low-income and senior citizens. Prior to earning her license, Heather worked as a legal assistant at a personal injury law firm in Tulsa for three years. For the duration of her second semester of law school, Heather externed at a personal injury firm in Chicago (otherwise known as a “semester-in-practice”) prior to joining HME Legal.
Heather is a Lake Forest native, which is where she currently resides with her dog and two cats. Although, she is a city girl by heart and aims to be in Chicago soon.
