Paige Smith Associate

Paige Smith is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, including class action, mass torts, and civil rights matters.

Before joining HME, Paige represented plaintiffs in both individual and class and collective actions in federal and state courts nationwide. Paige has gained extensive and comprehensive experience across a range of practice areas, with a particular focus on consumer protection, employment, discrimination, antitrust, and data privacy matters. Paige’s diverse experience has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to fiercely advocate for her clients at every stage of litigation.

Paige graduated cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2020. While attending law school, Paige externed for the Honorable Franklin U. Valderrama in the Circuit Court of Cook County, served as the Executive Notes & Comments Editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review, and volunteered as a shift manager at the Self-Help Resource Center, a student-run help desk at the Circuit Court of Cook County that provides self-represented litigants access to legal information. Paige earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in 2016 with a B.A. in Political Science with honors in the liberal arts.

Paige has been selected as a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers for both 2024 and 2025, an honor awarded annually to no more than 2.5% of lawyers under the age of 40 in the state.

Paige is admitted in Illinois and is a member of the Illinois Bar Association. Paige resides in Chicago and spends her free time exploring the city with her dog, Barry.
